Charly Kuhnemann
Clinical Psychologist Registrar
BPsychSc, BPsych(Hons), MPsych(Clin)
C Psychology Founder, MAPS
Charly is a Registered Psychologist with several years of clinical experience across private practice, university, hospital, and multi-disciplinary settings. Charly is the founder and clinician behind C Psychology. She hopes to help people lean into life better, with actionable strategies to make today a little more manageable and meaningful than yesterday.
She is currently completing her Clinical Endorsement Program within two private psychiatric hospitals, where she enjoys facilitating group therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients, alongside work with their affiliated private practices.
Charly received First Class Honours in her Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science, then completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University, where she remains active as a research assistant. She has a strong interest in how the nervous system organises our experience: shaping perception, coping patterns, and ultimately how we experience life.
Charly is on her own journey of practising being a human-being rather than a human-doing, and she brings that humility into her work. As a former competitive swimmer, Charly has firsthand experience with the unique pressures of high-performance. Struggling with performance anxiety at the time, her sports psychologist once said something that stuck with her: You can have the fastest car with the strongest engine but without the right mental, your keys, all that potential stays parked.
You do not need to have it all figured out before you reach out. Charly is educated and experienced in working with:

Stress
High Performance Pressures
Nervous System Dysregulation

Anxiety

Depression

ADHD & ASD

Chronic Pain

Life Transitions

Relationship
Issues

Confidence & Self-Esteem

Burnout

Adjustment Issues
